Core [Visualising ethnographic tools and knowledge / 2018-2020]
Scope Impact (previously known as M4iD) is a social impact company, accelerating social change at scale. They are based in Helsinki, Finland, and their work in equality, gender and health spans Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Discover 1 and 2 were two separate research interventions carried out across Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and India using co-design tools, developed by the team at Scope Impact. Made up of design researchers, service designers and anthropologists, this team consisted of … The research process, tools, findings and analysis were stitched into a narrative by the team at Scope which was converted into a visual report by me. The reports are some of the final outcomes of the Core project.

Life-course tool is a co-design tool developed at Scope. The tool is adapted across multiple stages along the research process - for data collection, reflection, and analysis, as well as for visual representation. I visualised the Life Course tool and developed a visual methodology for its use. The representation of the tool has been designed in a way that allows it to easily adapt to the narrative context. It can be modified in relation to where in the process it is being used and the type of information it represents.
